A project of The Institute, Romanian Design Week is the most important multidisciplinary festival in Romania.
It is an x-ray of the current stage of development of design, creative industries, and projects that use creativity
as the main development resource.
In July 2020, I participated in PosterJam’s poster competition on the theme of Change.
PosterJam is a well-known poster competition and creative platform on IG with over 80k followers founded
by the members of Local Design Circle, a graphic design community in Romania.

My 3 posters, were selected from over 350 posters submitted for the competition by the founders of PosterJam,
alongside a special guest, designer Ovidiu Hrin. He is one of Romania’s most regarded graphic designers,
a Romanian Design Week creative board member, and also the founder of Synopsis, his well-known design practice.

The 3 selected posters were featured in the PosterJam Exhibit at 25M2 well-known art gallery in Bucharest, in September 2020,

In August 2020 I was invited by Artemisa Pascu, an award-winning graphic designer based in Bucharest, Romania to take part in
an exhibit called RO42 Local Shapes, part of the Romanian Design Week. Artemisa is the co-founder of Local Design Circle, a leading design
platform in Romania, and PosterJam, an award-winning global poster design competition with over 80k followers on IG.
The task was to design a flag of my county in Romania where I was born, called “Olt” where my hometown Bals belongs to, as part of it.
The flag had to represent my county in an abstract way using geometric shapes. The design takes inspiration from Olt county’s
map of regions that eventually become colorful shapes in the layout design.
